my love of old hollywood and the glamour of that era!
I like this photo, and am keeping it up despite possibly offending someone.I am not into gore or violence as a fetish (or otherwise), but I do like the macabre aspect of this image. There can be a serene beauty to something grim in nature and I think Dita captures that here. I'm not sure if the intention was to re create the Black Dahila crime, but the 'smile' certainly points the finger that direction. She makes amazing art in all mediums be it her dancing, pinup and fetish work, published books or acting. (and her soon to be singing career!) If you know the photographer's name, please let me know. Dita once made a short film about Black Dahlia so I believe this photo was taken around the time the film was done, I don't know who the photographer is though...
Crazy photo. It's almost hard to look. But yes, well done in a macabre sort of way. Yikes!
