The place to be in the 40's and 50's was Ciro's. Opened in 1940 on the famed Sunset Strip, it saw major movie players, mobsters, crooners, politicians and of course, the press! Chic, elegant and dashing, aren't they? This kind of insight would never happen in this day and age. Today, The Comedy Store at 8433 Sunset Boulevard stands on Ciro's ghostly hallowed grounds.
