Around Town- Back in LA

Two weeks ago I was back in Los Angeles to work on Tamela D'Amico for Project Louisiana, a benefit hosted by the Playboy Mansion. Tamela was the featured jazz performer and of course, sang many of her classic jazz standards including a new addition "Sway", a song made popular by Dean Martin.

Even though the event had a Mardi Gras theme, there were many vintage inspired outfits spotted including many flappers. Tamela was gorgeous, decked out in a cabaret/jazz infused costume that highlighted her mile long legs! She had 60's Barbarella hair, and I gave her Sally Bowles meets Vegas showgirl eyes, perfect for dazzling the crowd which of course she did.

Tamela's friend, designer Elizabeth Neff was seen in a Jane Mansfield style wiggle dress by Betsey Johnson. She happily showed me what was underneath~ we were at the Playboy Mansion after all, why not? Hidden was a bombshell secret~ beautiful vintage inspired lingerie by Agent Provocateur. Elizabeth's line is called Suede Kat and is "A classy-grunge, wearable for any occasion." For info contact eneff1187@aol.com.

I love that eye makeup you did! It looks perfect.

I went to a party there once and was shocked to see how poorly the Bunnies' makeup looked overall, including scary amounts of self-tanner/bronzer/foundation. Most of them looked like Oompa Loompas with fake boobs and fake lashes. I hope you were able to give out some good advice.
