The Last Ziegfeld Girl

The NY Times has a nostalgic article on 105 year old Doris Eaton Travis, the last remaining Ziegfeld Girl! "Still Kicking Up Her Heels on 42nd Street". Read it here!

She is amazing! One of my favorite books is Century Girl. I could look at it for days! Have you read it?

What an amazing article, thank you for mentioning it! She is such a special treasure...the world will lose more than just a life when (sadly) one day she passes, and the Ziegfeld era remains alive not in the first hand memories of those who lived it, but merely in history books.

Thanks again for the inspiring read, honey!

Wishing you a gorgeous day,
♥ Jessica
