I'm obsessing over Dita and her "Dorothy" heels at the moment. In her twitter photo they look hot pink, but in Pocket Venus's post "Dolce & Gabbana Yacht" May 22, 2009, you can see they are the most gorgeous Ruby Red!

I was dismayed to see some of the so-called "reviews" of the Cannes red carpet recently critical of Dita because evidently the reviewers were expecting to see "more" of the "burlesque queen" in character attire. Clearly Dita, who is as classy and gutsy as they come, was appropriately attired for the occasion and thereby disappointed some of the less classy "snarks" who always want to pick on someone, it seems. Our gain! Dita does retro right.

Also, thank you so much for your sweet and wonderful email. It was one of those days where I just felt like I couldn't handle everything anymore and had to get it out.
