John Galliano Men's Spring 2011

John Galliano's Menswear Spring 2011 shown in Paris was inspired by iconic silent screen legends Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton. The opening Charlie model even tumbled out of a giant clock as a nod to Chaplin's Modern Times. click for larger view!

I had heard about this - really weird/interesting stuff. thanks for sharing the photos! I was really curious to see how the outfits turned out. I prefer the Keaton section, Chaplin makes me a bit uncomfortable, high fashion - trying to dress like the tramp? a bit of irony there.

I love Galliano too!! He's always good for a show and for vintage references. But yes, the faces are disturbing. The second one is creepy! ha ...and more fingerwaves!
