On The Road
The other day I was visiting my parents and came across a small classic car show at a local pub. I took some photos of a few of my favorites! Click the image for a larger view!

Besame Giveaway
Besame has been one of my favorite brands for a while now, just as I assume all you vintage loving gals as well! Last week I stopped by the Besame Cosmetics Boutique in Glendale, CA as I had not been there since it had become a retail location. The store is adorable and my fellow Sagittarius Mary assisted me with some purchases and informed me of some new products coming out soon!! (See my previous post on Besame here!)
The first thing I needed to get was their new Brightening Violet Powder!! I had seen the video and read some reviews, so I needed to stock up. I love it. It has a satiny matte finish and a lovely violet scent. It truly does brighten your face due to the hue~ no sparkle necessary. Mary also suggested to use under my eyes and although I was hesitant, it perked me right up. It did not feel cakey and have tried patting it in with the puff and dusting it on with a powder brush~ both give natural, luminous finishes. I have used it on a few shoots and on different skin tones and had no difficulties.
In honor of this new exciting product, I am giving away a new Besame Brightening Violet Powder!! Giveaway is open to all worldwide. Please LEAVE ME A COMMENT and one winner will be drawn at random! Giveaway deadline is Sunday Aug 12th, 12noon EST.
If you haven't seen photos already, here are a few of the boutique~ p.s. vintage hats are on sale for $20 & don't forget to pick up a copy of Gabriela's book Classic Beauty: The History of Makeup!

Thank you Gabriela & Mary!
