Tamela D'Amico- Got A Little Story

Jazz songstress Tamela D'Amico's much anticipated album, Got A Little Story drops Tues. April 14th! The buzz that's been going around is "Timeless, evocative, sexy, and sassy, Tamela D ’Amico is fresh voice for your old favorites. A deconstructed and reinvented classic. The new identity of old school—Sinatra in heels!"

While I agree with this, I must point out that I have seen her perform live many times and she has her own evocative sound and stage presence, not to mention alongside some of the world's best musicians. She blazes her own path while remaining true to the spirit of the jazz and classic standards she sings- no, she owns.

Got A Little Story was a long time in the making, and well worth the wait. Tamela has been performing for a very long time, and having this major label album being released worldwide everywhere will not only add to her skyrocketing success, but bring more attention to this genre of music that we all love. The beautiful music of an era gone by.

If you are a fan of this music, you'll love the line up: "The Gentleman Is A Dope", "Charade", "And I Love Him", "Perfidia", "One For My Baby", "We Are In Love", "When October Goes", "He’s A Tramp", "They All Laughed", "Perfect". ("Perfidia" and "When October Goes" are breathtaking!!)

If you don't want to wait to run to your nearest Barnes & Noble or favorite music store on April 14th, you can pre-order the album here!

Drew's costume with the hood by the piano looks very much like one worn by Paulette Goddard in THE WOMEN. Gorgeous!
